The horizontal sump pump is a submersible pump designed for operation submerged in liquid, featuring a horizontal installation structure. It offers small axial force and high unit efficiency. After startup, the impeller, driven by the motor, rotates at high speed. The water inside the pump rotates with it, generating centrifugal force. The water is thrown towards the edge of the impeller and pressed into the diffusion chamber of the pump casing. In the diffusion chamber, the water's velocity decreases, pressure gradually increases, and then it is discharged from the pump outlet. Simultaneously, a low-pressure area forms at the impeller center, and liquid from the sump flows into the pump via the suction pipe under atmospheric pressure, achieving continuous water pumping.
